This one is for the books. I was just about finished with the insulation in the attic and tripped, Fell through my daughter's ceiling. Grabbed the roof rafter just in time or else I wouldn't be writing this right now. OW!
Well, I didn't think I would have to worry about this one! Roof was leaking inside the garage this afternoon when I came to pick up the sawsall. That threw me a few hours, had to climb up on the roof and shovel it off. Of course the kids were laughing at me! Another mom episode.

Been working on these one for days. Minimal water pressure in the house in all faucets. Checked the holding tank which looks like has enough pressure. Anybody have any suggestions? have checked all the pipes, doesn't look like I have anything busted this time. What would I need to check next?

Spent the whole week insulating the pipes, still not done! I had to put that foam stuff around all of it and tape it. Still getting abit of a draft, but much better than before! This house is going to be solid by the time my brother and I are done. Then it can be an all around weekend house, instead of just for summers. Wish I knew all the work involved beforehand.
I can't believe what we found behind the wall in the foyer this weekend. Electrical cord attached to an extension cord and no box! It is amazing we didn't have a fire. This passed my buyer's inspection too. Anyway we are now gutting out the foyer, running new line and then having an inspection to make sure done right. Then we will reinsulate and put the sheet rock up. My son and I are working on thesystem,gotta go. &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp;
I took some pictures of the work my brother and I are doing in the one section of the house. I am really learning alot today. Good thing we looked over the supports-minimal on the collar ties for the roof. Thank God the roof didn't collapse on me! Taken care for now. See you later, have to get back to work. Hey at least I can use it as a work out!
Wow-working on this house is abit overwhelming. Sometimes I don't know where to start. Today I will be working on insulating the pipes under the kitchen area, as they keep freezing up on me. Thanks again for your help last weekend with the sheetrock.
My week is pretty busy, so I just want to update my schedule. I will be on the road most of the week, leaving the Newburgh area. I have to cover the Newburgh to Middletown area, lots of driving. This won't be fun with upcoming weather.
